RMO Day 22 - Visiting the Sister Hospital

It was that time again to take my drive to Park City for my clinic. Despite the lockdown, there was still a steady stream of patients attending my clinic, although I have cut down on the numbers.

It was not about the patients but about driving during the lockdown. It was part fun with the lighter number of vehicles, but at the same time, there were roadblocks. And the special lanes they had for Health Care Workers were often not clearly posted. I sometimes ended up being stuck behind a queue.

But today it was a straight forward one. I took the route which I knew where the lanes were and cut down on the wait.

I must say that the measure they had in place at Park City was more elaborate than in SJMC. The details they took are more particular, and the sticker which they put once you passed the entry check-point had an individual number on them. Implementing similar procedures in SJMC may cause a bit of a problem. Despite the reduced number of patients coming to the clinic, we still have a fair amount of admissions for chemotherapy and such.
